Biography

William Howe was born 27 July 1848 in Halifax. He was a clerk in the federal Department of the Interior from 1869 in Ottawa, Ontario. In 1871 he lived with his parents there. William married first on 23 Sep 1873 Helen F. Ross and second, on 4 Mar 1884 in Ottawa, Maggie J Clark, daughter of Robert Clark. William died of consumption 28 Apr 1890 in Carleton, Ontario and was buried in Beechwood Cemetery there.
