Biography

James Howe was born in Amherst, New Hampshire 24 Oct 1784. He married 22 Oct 1815 Martha Craig.[1] They lived in Peterborough, New Hampshire, and had 7 children, and she died 9 Dec 1830 at age 38.. He married second Eliza Gould, daughter of Stephen Gould. They had six children. She died 16 Aug 1847. He married third on 6 March 1849 Nancy Witt and they had two children. He moved to Jaffrey, New Hampshire about 1860, and he died there 25 March 1863.[2]
