Biography

Paul was born in 1893. He was the son of Oliver Hunt Howe and Martha Paul. He fitted for college at Cohasset High School and Worcester Academy where he graduated 1910. Graduated A. B., Dartmouth College, 1914. Was reporter for the Springfield Union, Springfield, Mass., from July 1914 to 25 April 1916 when he became reporter for the Boston Post, which position held until 29 Oct. 1916. Nov. 12, 1916 he entered the employ of the American Felt Co. as sales secretary. May 1918 he entered the employ of the U. S. Shipping Board later became Asst. Paymaster on S. S. Governor Dingley. Feb. 1919 he entered the employ of the Conn. Telephone Electric Co. of Meriden, Ct., as first chief of inventory section of planning deptartrnent and later was assistant to Secretary and assistant manager of signal department. now (1927) Agent for New York State for the same Company. They lived in Meriden until Nov. 1926, but in 1927 lived at 1401 Park St., Syracuse, N. Y. He passed away in 1972.
