Biography
Born Joseph Howe in Standish, Maine in 1791. Married Elizabeth Douglas of Portland, Maine, daughter of Ebenezer and Abigail (Bailey) Douglas. She was born in New London, Connecticut 8 Jul 1790. They lived in Portland, Maine, had one child, Abby Caroline. He died in Portland 1 Aug 1820.[1]
