Biography
Born in Pethersham in 1759. Married (int. 21 Dec 1783) Vashti Holland, daughter of Jonas and Bathsheba (Ivory) Holland, born in Petersha 4 may 1761. She died 23 Jul 1838. He was a soldier in the Revolution and served in a cavalry company. His will, dated 25 Mar 1833 and presented in Probate Court 30 Jul 1838 mentions sons Jonas and Ivory H and daughters Lucy Gates, Dolly Howe, Betsey Bullard.[1]
