Biography

Abigail was born in Marlborough, Middlesex, Province of Massachusetts Bay on 8 Aug 1723.[1] She is the tenth child and fifth born daughter of John Howe and Deliverance Rice. She married in Rutland, Worcester, Massachusetts, on 17 Apr 1755, James Pike, son of Onesiphorus Pike and Mary Sanderson.[2] The exact date of birth of their two (known) children is not currently known. Their first born is believed to be a son, John. He was baptized in Rutland on 31 Jul 1757. Their second child, whose given name was not recorded, was a daughter who was baptized ten years later, also in Rutland on 22 Feb 1767.[3] It’s not clear where or when Abigail died. Husband James is known to have moved from Rutland to Paxton and finally to Sturbridge where he died. Her death occurred (prb.) in Worcester County, Massachusetts bef. her husbands second marriage in May of 1783.

Hello Scott,

Fully agree that they are the same person. However I am confident in the additional family info. Will the 6040 data be retained?
