Biography
Son of John and Naomi (Porter) Howe, born 9 Feb 1791 in Rutland. Married Freelove J. Locklin about 1820, born in Canada about 1802. His sister, Salome married Porter's brother Elihu.
The name Freelove is confirmed from multiple censuses as the wife of John Porter Howe. The last name Locklin appears in various trees for the spouses of Porter and Elihu with no clear source. Other Locklins do appear in the same household or next door in census records.
