DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Margaret by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Howe-6686 and Howe-2756 appear to represent the same person because: Both Margaret Howes share the same birth date, and Margaret Howe-6686 was born in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, the same town as Samuel Kelley. I previously posted that they were not ready to match, but I see enough evidence now to accept it.
Likely the same person as Howe-6686. Birth date is the same for both Margaret Howes and both both Samuel and Margaret Howe-6686 were born in Hopkinton.
