Florence was born in 1880 and grew up on the Howe farm in Glencoe, Minnesota. She met Charles Dice in California and they married in 1915 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Florence and Charles lived in California for a short time. While there, their son, Ralph, was born. After his birth, they moved to Detroit, Michigan where, son, Arthur, was born. Florence lost her beloved husband in 1942 and she passed away in 1955. They were laid to rest in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.
