Biography

Sarah was born in Sudbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 25 Sep 1644. She is the third born child and first daughter of John Howe and Mary (?). She married Samuel Ward, son of William Ward and Elizabeth (?), in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony on (or abt.) 26 Jun 1667. They had seven (known) children together, all born in Marlborough. 1) Sarah b. on 23 Apr 1668; 2) Joseph b. abt. 1670; 3) Elizabeth b. on 21 May 1672; she m. Nathaniel Hapgood; 4) Mary b. abt. 1676; 5) Samuel b. on 8 Mar 1678; 6) Bethiah b. on 25 May 1681; and 7) Daniel b. abt.1687; he died young at abt. the age of 13; his death was on 13 Apr 1700. Sarah died in Marlborough on 11 Aug 1707.^[1] She is buried in Spring Hill Cemetery in Marlborough.^{[citation needed]}
