Death
Millard F. Howland was killed by the cars, at Durand, Dec. 9, 1877; he was conductor of a freight train, and was making his last trip as such, prior to taking the position of a passenger conductor.[3]
Burial
Millard F. Howland was buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Genesee County, Michigan.[4]
