Benjamin was a Friend (Quaker)
Benjamin was born on 16 Nov 1688 according Dartmouth records.[1][2] According to William Emery in a Howland genealogy he "probably d(ied) young; (for he is) not mentioned in his father's will."[3] Emery cites a birth date of Nov. 30, 1688, which is not consistent with the public record. Perhaps this was his baptismal date.[3]
