Susana Howland was born to John Howland and Freelove Wood on 12 April 1731 in Barrington, Bristol, Rhode Island.[1][2][3] However, the Swansea Vital records says, “Susana the Daughter of John Howlan and Freelove his wife was born april the :12:1731” in Swansea, Bristol, Massachusetts Bay.[4]

Susanna Howland married Henry Salisbury on 19 April 1750 in Scituate, Providence County, Rhode Island.[5][6]
