Rosalthie Gertrude Howland, the daughter of Angelo Howland and Harriet Backus (Goodell) Howland, was born on October 9, 1847, in Glocester, Rhode Island.^[1] Rosalthie Gertrude Howland married Elbron Francis Taylor (1842–1909) on November 27, 1867 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.^[2][3] They had two children during their marriage. She alone lived at 834 Pine Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 12, 1918. She died in 1925 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the age of 78, and was buried in Oakland Cemetery in Spartanburg, South Carolina.^[4][5]
