Lydia was born on 10 Sep 1689 in Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Joseph Howland and Rebecca (Hussey) Collins.[1] She married Walter Phillips in in either 1706 or 1707 as evidenced by an intention to marry.[2] According to Lydia's profile at familysearch.org,, she and Walter had five children.[3] The birth years range from 1714 to 1729, all were born in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, and all are listed as children of Lydia and Walter. Lydia passed away some time after 1729.
Lydia's death was listed originally as 1713, which caused an error in the database as the only child listed in the profile was William born in 1715. As the last child was born in 1729 and Lydia was the mother, 1713 is not possible. From the original sources. it appears the death date came in from an ancestry.com tree. There is a tree there (maybe more than one) that lists 1713, but there is no source for the date. No death source has been found for Lydia.
