Biography

Abigail Hoxsie was born October 30, 1814 at Richmond, Washington, Rhode Island, United States. Her parents were Joseph Hoxsie and Susannah Hoxsie. She married Morgan Johnson about 1833.

She returned from Nebraska to Michigan after the death of Morgan in 1879. She lived at Bronson, Michigan with her daughter Susannah Margaret (Johnson) Tice until her death March 25, 1891. She is buried in North Gilead Cemetery, Branch County, Michigan beside her father, Joseph Hoxsie.^[1]
