Biography

I was born and raised in Southern California, along with my mom's entire family and my dad's entire family. I have been working on the family history for some time now, and in July 2015 I went to Norway and met my Mother's Paternal family! It was amazing and by far one of the happiest days of my life. Many of them still reside in the small town of Favang, Norway. Beautiful. I plan on going back in the summer of 2016 and taking my mom to meet her cousins.

My father's side, there isn't much information and I can't find many relatives. Still working on that.

I would love to hear from anyone who thinks they have a connection to my family. I love meeting people through genealogy. In summer of 2018 I will be traveling to Ireland and Norway for genealogy research.

Hi Lisa,

Just a quick PS

Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.

if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

Best Wishes, and have fun adding your leaves and branches!

I am so excited to help with this shared tree. I hope I can be of help to others as they are to me. I know handwriting and dates are hard to read on many old documents but I'm ready to help and clarify! Looking forward to working with everyone!

Hi,

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM; thank you so much! Here's a link to a great step-by-step explanation of the process, including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, good to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.
