Biography
Sarah Elizabeth Huckaby was born in 1815 in Kentucky. Sarah was the child of Joshua Huckaby.
In 1950 she is listed in the household of her husband William Francis and they have their first 7 children at home at the time. They live next door to Joshua Huckaby (her father) in 1st Division, Barren, Kentucky.[1]
She is on the birth records [2]for the following children:
Rebecca J b: December 15, 1852 in Barren, KY Cynthia F b: January 31, 1855 in Barren , Kentucky
She is found with William and some of their children in 1860. They are found at the time of this census living in Green Township, Polk, MIssouri.[3]
1870 finds her in Missouri still with William and some of their children.[4]
Sarah passed away June 14, 1887. She was buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Polk, Missouri.[5]

Parents: Joshua Huckaby 1784 – 1850 & Unknown (some researchers have the mother as Eleanor "Nelly" "Ellen" McGuire 1805 – but this is impossible since they married 3 Apr 1826 and Sarah was born in 1815)

In an effort to straighten out family up the line further, I have started from her daugher Amanda and am working my way up. I am hoping if I go through and source the line, hopefully the previous Huckaby ancestors will be untangled.

Huckaby-681 and Huckaby-287 are not ready to be merged because: The parents are different. We are gonna have to hold off on this merge. Same Huckaby family but different father's. I think the mother McGuire is wrong on mine. The Jane unknown is probably more right but right now BUT the mother is unknown. Eleanor McGuire is probably a second wife, married after the birth of Sarah.
