Biography

Sarah Jane Huckaby was born 16 December 1820 in Wilkes County, Georgia.^{[citation needed]} She was a daughter of John Huckaby and Elizabeth Moore. The name was Huckaby; it is also found spelled as Hucabee, Huckabee and other variations in court and land records.

Sarah Jane married Jessie W. GEORGE in 1839,^{[citation needed]} and their first child, John Carey George, was born in 1840.

Sarah Huckaby died on 6 March 1890 in Texas.^[1]
