Mary Catherine (Huddleston) Barnes was born March 13,1799 in South Carolina.
She married James Barnes in Maury, Tennessee on January 25, 1816.[1] The 1850 Census shows her married to James Barnes with daughter daughter Margaret J. Barnes (age 13).[2]
In the 1880 census she is age 80 and widowed, living with daughter Catherine (Barnes) Alston and L.J. Alston, her son-in-law.[3]
Mary Huddleston Barnes died January 29,1889. Stoney Point Cemetery, BUCKSNORT, DALLAS COUNTY, ARKANSAS[4]
