William Huddleston's parentage remains speculative.
His birth place of North Carolina comes from his daughter Permelia's responses in the 1880 census. His birth year is based on him being age 50-59 in the 1830 census.
William is last seen in the 1830 census. Since his wife Tabitha is head of household in the 1840 census, it is assumed that he died in the intervening years.
