Biography

This profile was adopted after being added to the Hudson Name study by others. Elizabeth was baptised on 11 July 1711 at Hopton Castle, Shropshire, England, by parents Richard and Anne. in the original GEDCOM Elizabeth was shown married to John Hay in 1744; however Elizabeth's birth place was shown as Ludlow (which is unlikely since she was baptised in Hopton Castle, Shropshire), and the marriage place was said to be Ludlow when it was, in fact, Bromfield, Shropshire. The conclusion is that the marriage to John Hay should be considered to be unreliable, until sources are discovered.
