Biography

Edna J. Hudson was born in May 1873 at Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois, USA.[1][2] She appeared on the census of 23 June 1880 in the household of her parents, Samuel Hudson and Cordelia (Derthick) Hudson, at Forreston, Ogle Co., Illinois.[3]

She married Charles Ashel Northrup, son of Edgar Northrup, circa 1889. [1]

She and Charles appeared on the census of 5 June 1900 at 629 Pleasant, Rockford, Winnebago Co., Illinois.[1] She and Charles appeared on the census of 28 April 1910 at 419 S. 8th St., DeKalb, DeKalb Co., Illinois.[4] She and Charles appeared on the census of 8 Jan. 1920 at 424 South 8th Street, DeKalb, DeKalb Co., Illinois.[5] Charles died in 1927 and she appeared on the census of 4 April 1930 at 424 S. 8th St., DeKalb, DeKalb Co., Illinois living by herself.[6] She appeared on the census of 9 April 1940 at 424 S. 8th St., DeKalb, DeKalb Co., Illinois.[7]

Edna died on 29 July 1948 at DeKalb, DeKalb Co., Illinois, at age 75 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, DeKalb, DeKalb Co., Illinois. Her memorial has several photos.[8]
