M. Josephine Hawkins
SALEM-M. Josephine (Hudson) Hawkins 99, of Salem, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at Gracewood Asst. Living on the Benton Road.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1915 in Tiffin, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry R. and Ida May (Stohl) Hudson.
She retired from the JC Penny Co. as a credit manager. She was a member of the Salem First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her children, Carol Souders of Niles and Barbara Hawkins of Chippewa Lake, Chippewa, Ohio, a brother William Reynolds of Lisbon, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hawkins, and children, Betty Jo Zehentbauer and Sandra Minett.
Services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greensien & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
A time of Visitation will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
