Hi Mari-Lyn,

Thanks for the G2G post. I was going to contact you regarding your Hudsons. I came across them whilst correcting some Yorkshire suggestions and sorting out the relationship problem was a challenge I could not resist. I do not think that your Joseph Hudson married Martha Stephenson. I think that she belongs to a different Joseph Hudson. Martha's death date is after Joseph's marriage to Mary Heaton. I did not detach her from Joseph because is was concerned that we would not be able to find her again and I had no proof that another Joseph existed. Hope that is useful information.

Regards Joan

ps. I'll have another look. There was a Joseph Hudson, son of Richard Hudson, christened in 1762 at Bingley, Yorkshire. Just found it. (Bingley and Ilkley are not far away from each other)

If you feel you need to change it.. go ahead
Hello Joan, look forward in collaborating..
Greetings,

About a year ago you had suggested a site "Grandma" regarding a German lineage of Rover-20. Do you still have access to that site? It appears it is subscription only.

Cheers!

Hi Mari-Lyn,

I just completed the merge of Loretta Agnes (Laughlin) Hudson. May I suggest that not all Family Search Trees are correct and that it is more useful to use them as a hint to find and study individual source records.

Cheers!

I only added a source on George Hudson's profile

Hi Mari-Lyn,

I don't think I'm the same Bruce Hudson as the one born in the 1960s in your tree. My full name is Robert Bruce Hudson, and I was born in 1965 in Hamilton, New Zealand. That's not to rule out that the Hudsons you refer to aren't related. My family is from Fyffe, Scotland.

All the best,

Bruce.

Hi Mari-Lyn. Thank you for posting on my page. My father also didn't talk about the Black Sea area where his family came from. He just considered himself an American, so I guess the past wasn't important. Our family is mostly from North Dakota and Oregon. A lot of my great-uncles and great-aunts went to Canada. I looked but didn't see Klassen in my tree.
