Alice was born in January 1898 in Pendleton, Oregon to Alexander and Mary A. Hudson. They stayed there while Alice was growing up.[1][2] She married Ray Orien Baker on July 1, 1920. Alice taught school in Ukiah, Hermiston, Rieth, Milton-Freewater, Stanfield and Cove and her husband was a school principal.[3] They did not have children. Alice died in 1988 in La Grande, Oregon. She was 89 years old.[4]
