Biography

Eli Huff married Mary Ann Shell on 2 May 1867 in Harlan County, Kentucky.

Eli HUFF (1840 KY - d before 1900) lived in Harlan Co, KY, but his exact family cannot be determined from census records. He was shown on the U. S. 1863 draft list for Harlan Co, but no record was found for service.^[1]

On 29 May 1869 in Harlan Co, KY, he md Mary A. SHELL (1844 KY - ) and they apparently lived in 1880 in Harlan Co. In 1900, Widow Mary HUFF was still there.

Children including:

Huff lineage is Eli and Mary A. (Shell) of Harlan Co, KY; Isaac and Elizabeth (??Lewis?) of VA and KY; the next generation is not definite; but the indication is strong that Isaac's grandparents were Dr. James and Obedience (Woody) of VA and KY;
