There is much that is not known about Mary Hughes. Her surname is assumed to be Hughes because it became part of the naming pattern in succeeding generations of this Taylor line. She married William Taylor about 1721 in Virginia, and they had four known children, Ann, John, William Jr., and James. Mary's date and place of death are not known.
Mary was born in 1703. She passed away in 1741.
