Stephen Hughes[1]
Stephen Hughes was born in 1835. He is the son of Martin Hughes and Ann Davis. He married Sabrina Davis on the August 27, 1861 in Ritchie County, VA (now WV). Their children were Mary Josephine, Wesley Curtis, William A, Dorinda Jane, Zebbie Ernest, Sylvestor J, Molana A, Byron B. and Talithia Catherine. Stephen Hughes died on May 4, 1916.
Stephen Hughes was born in June, 1853 in Harrison, Virginia (now West Virginia) to Martin L. Hughes and Ann (Davis) Hughes.
Stephen Hughes and Sabrina Davis married on August 27, 1861 in Ritchie County, Virginia (now West Virginia). They were married in the home of Zachariah Swiger. He was 24 and single. She was 22 and single.[2]

Stephen Hughes passed away on May 4, 1916 in the Clay District of Harrison, West Virginia. He was 81.[3] He was buried in Eddy Cemetery, Miletus, Doddridge County, West Virginia.[4][5]
