DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
Hughes-24193 and Hughes-6626 appear to represent the same person because: I was in the process of adding children to Hughes-22766 and his wife Hickman-4025. When I added Hughes-24193, I started to add his wife, but found her already added as the wife of Hughes-6626. Their children are correct. The only difference is the birthdate of William F., but I found the date listed on Hughes-6626 on a gravestone application and the one I used was an estimate. Parents in Hughes-22766 should be added to Hughes-6626.
