Biography

He was the son of Sophia Elizabeth Honeywood and Henry Alwright Hughes. He was born on the 2nd of April 1822, and baptised on the 16th of May 1822 at Honiton, Devon, England.^[1]He was married twice, firstly to Catharine Mary Buller the daughter of Ann Divett and Thomas Wentworth Buller on the 25th of Oct 1855, at St. Thomas, Devon, England.^[2]He married secondly Georgina Mary Phillpotts the daughter of Louisa Buller and the Rev. William John Phillpotts, on the 18th of April 1876 at St. Gluvias, Cornwall, England.^[3][4]He died on the 4th of April 1897, citing Death, Newton Abbot, Devon, England.^[5][6]
