Biography

Lyllie Unisa Hugoboom was born on 17 March 1863 in Cattaraugus county, New York. She was the daughter of Norman Henry Hugoboom and Unisa Perkins.

Hugoboom is a corruption of an old Dutch surname Hoogeboom, also spelt Hogeboom and Hogheboom, meaning High tree.

Lyllie was on the 1865 census with her parents and grandparents (Henry Hugoboom and Mary Harrington) in Perrysburg, Cattaraugus, New York.[1] They moved to Wyoming county, New York, where she was on the 1870 census for Pike[2] and the 1875 census for Wethersfield[3].

Her family moved back to Perrysburg by 1880. She married Eugene James Fuller on 17 Mar 1880 in Perrysburg. They had three children - Lora Belle (Fuller) Burmaster, Gladys, who died young, and Harold Norman Fuller.

Lyllie and Eugene were in Sheridan, Chautauqua county, New York in 1880,[4], 1900[5] 1910,[6], and 1920.[7]

Lyllie passed away on 10 November 1929, a few years after the death of her husband, in Dewittville, Chautauqua county, New York. She died at the home of her daughter according to her obituary.[8]
