Biography

George Hull was born 20 Sep 1779 in Virginia to Samuel Hull and Martha Glover.[1]

"The Biographical Record of Boone County, Iowa" (p. 333) includes a biography of Jackson Hull, son of George Hull and Lucy Farris. It states George Hull was born in Virginia, 1779 and that he moved to Muskingum County, Ohio, later to Fulton County, Illinois, and then to Schuyler County, Missouri. In 1848, the family moved to Boone County, Iowa.

George first married Hannah Rees on 5 June 1804 in Harrison County, Virginia.[2]

He second married 'Mrs. Lucy Roberts' on 29 May 1836 in Fulton County, Illinois. They had five children between 1837-1844.

George and Lucy resided in Boone, County, Iowa in 1850 with five children.[3]

George Hull died 16 Jan 1855.[1] He was buried in Hull Cemetery, Luther, Boone County, Iowa.[4]
