She was living with her daughter Helen Lewis and her first husband, Leonard Hubbard, during the 1855 New York Census. During the 1860 US Census, Mary was still living in the household of her daughter who had become a widow.
Mary died on 8 November 1863 in Freedonia, Chautauqua County, New York.
