Eliza Hull was born 19 Jul 1823 in North Carolina to Major Hull and Margaret Gross (per tombstone and census).
Elisa Hull (age 26) resided with parents Major and Peggy Hull and siblings in Lincoln County, North Carolina in 1850.[1]
B. F. Goode and Eliza Hull were married on 7 Dec 1859 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.[2]
B. F. (age 51) and Eliza (age 36) Goode resided with his parents Thos. and Sarah Goode and other family members in Cleveland County, North Carolina in 1860.[3] In 1870, B. F. (61) and Eliza (45) Good resided with their daughter Margaret and his widowed mother Sarah Good in Cleveland County, North Carolina.[4]
In 1880, B. Franklin (72) and Eliza (56) resided with daughters Maggie and Laura in Lincoln County, North Carolina.[5]
Eliza Goode (age 73) resided with daughter Laura Willis, her husband Jacob and their children in Lincoln County, North Carolina in 1900.[6] In 1910, widow Eliza Goode (86) resided with her widowed son-in-law Jacob Willis and his children in Lincoln County, North Carolina.[7]
Eliza Hull Goode died 25 Jun 1911. She was buried in Hulls Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Vale, Lincoln County, North Carolina. The tombstone says: Eliza E., wife of B. F. Goode, born July 19 1823, died June 25 1911.[8][9]
Notes and Clues
It is uncertain when her husband Bejamin Franklin Goode died. Findagrave states that he died in 1902 and the tombstone is difficult to read. But the 1900 census stated that Eliza Goode was a widow.
