Temperance died sometime before 1 September 1697 when her son-in-law John Redman petitioned the court regarding her estate. She had left a will but not named an executor.[2] In the settlement of Temperance Bickford's affairs a list of expenses dated 1694 a reference by Thomas Bickford is made to "brother Smith," to "brother Burnham" and to "brother Bickford."[3]

Born 1625 Deceased Nov. 8, 1697, Oyster River, N.H. Arrived in America 1649/1650 or earlier. Resided Oyster River (Durham Point, Durham, N.H.) - 1669. Father John Bickford. Mother Temperance Furber. Spouse Temperance Hull, daughter of Rev. Joseph Hull and his 1st wife, bp. Mar. 20, 1626

Birthplace is given as Northleigh, Devon with an alternate of Oyster River, NH. Temperance was born in Northleigh.
