FHL microfilm 13064, MD Patents Libr ABH: 42 “16th July 1650, Francis Posey demanded 50 acres in right of his now wife whom he bought of Mr. Fenwick whose Servant she was being for her Transportation into this Province about 7 years since”......Elizabeth, no last name, was transported into Maryland about 1643.St Mary's County is now Charles County, Maryland. Elizabeth married first: Francis Posey, second marriage was to John Belaine, third marriage was to Alexander Smith.
