Biography

Alex married Caroline F Hall on 1 July 1850 in Greenbrier, West Virginia.[1]

Alex was in a military record. He was in the 26th Battalion, Virginia Infantry (Edgar's).[2]

In the 1870 census Alex (age 46), Farmer, was in Irish Corner, Greenbrier, West Virginia.[3]

In the 1880 census Henry (age 51), Farming, was the married head of household in Irish Corner, Greenbrier, West Virginia, United States.[4]

Alex (Henry) was mentioned on a memorial in Old Lebanon Cemetery, Pickaway, Monroe County, West Virginia, United States with a death date of 3 November 1889.[5]Henry, son of J. H. Humphreys & Sallie, died (age 62) on 3 November 1889 in Greenbrier Co., West Virginia.[6]

Henry's will passed probate in 1866-1881 in Monroe.[7]
