Private in the War of 1812 as per the roll of Capt. Armstrong's Kentucky Mounted Volunteer Militia - Colonel William Montjoy's unit. John Hunt, Jr. was in the same as brother-in-law Issac Allison, company which rendezvoused at Newport on 13 Aug 1813. Participated in the Battle of the Thames/Battle of Moraviantown - it took place on October 5, 1813 in Upper Canada[3]
