Biography

Anne was not the daughter of William Hunt and Elizabeth (Best) Todd. This was presented as fact in 1944.[1] Subsequent research of the wills of William Hunt and Richard Best have shown that Anne was not a child of William.[2]

Circa 1631 (guess)-- at ?? Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.- Unsourced statement.

1697 -- Mary Hunt Wood died at probably Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Province

Mary Grant, widow of Thomas Grant had no children. In her will she named her sisters, Ann Wood and Susanna Todd, wife of John Todd.[3]

Research Notes

Check for the will, not Howe's say so.

This Ann Hunt is not the wife of Thomas Wood of Richmond County, Virginia. His wife is at this time unknown. Ann is being removed as wife and a merge will be proposed for Anne (Hunt) Wood into Ann (Unknown) Wood.
Unknown-426830 and Hunt-1957 do not represent the same person because: Parents not the same and dates of spouse are far apart
Unknown-426830 and Hunt-1957 appear to represent the same person because: Although there is a dispute as to the parentage of Ann Hunt, in both profiles the husband is Thomas Wood. More research is need to solve the issue of parents.

Anne's relation to William has been disproved. This was mentioned before on William's Profile. I am disconnecting her from William and Elizabeth and attaching to Unknown father.
