Deborah and Joseph had nine or ten children, all born in Easton, Massachusetts:
Hannah, b. January 23, 1732/3,[5][4] m. December 14, 1759 Moses Curtis in Bridgewater[4]
Rebecca, b. April 1, 1735,[5][4] m. January 5, 1764 Jesse Edson in Bridgewater[4]
Joseph, b. May 27, 1737[5] (The Belcher Families in New England says he was born April 1, 1735,[4] but that is inconsistent with the Easton town records), m. March 2, 1762 Abial Hollis,[4] d. April 20, 1803[4]
Gregory, b. January 26, 1739,[5][4] m. 1st Deborah _______,[4] m. 2d June 29, 1775 Elizabeth Pratt[4]
Deborah, b. March 31, 1741,[5][4] m. December 3, 1761 Seth Dunbar in Bridgewater[4]
Samuel, b. February 4, 1742/3,[5][4] d. January 29, 1755[5][4]
William, b. January 29, 1748,[5][4] said to have been killed or captured in the Revolution in September 1776[4]
Jonathan, b. February 1753[5][4] about three days before his mother's death,[5] m. January 4, 1778 Abigail Corthrell[4]
The Belcher Families in New England states Deborah and Joseph also had a son named Gregory, born about 1737, based on (1) the fact that a Benjamin Belcher appears on the roll of Capt. Simeon Cary's Company in 1758, on a Crown Point expedition and (2) the fact that the author was unable to find another Belcher family that Benjamin could have belonged to.[4] However, he is not included in the list of Deborah and Joseph's children in the Easton town records[5] and a 1737 date of birth would conflict with the date of birth of son Joseph in those records.[5]
Deborah died in Easton, Massachusetts on February 1753, about three days after the birth of her son Jonathan.[5] (The Belcher Families in New England states that she died on March 31, 1753,[4] but that date is inconsistent with the Easton town records.)
