Research Notes
Joseph Hunt born 1680 from Maryland on the Sammy Williams website is said to have been involved with the Tipton family. That website has the John Hunt born 1708 married to Mary Fardenan. Trying to find out if there is a John Hunt born about 1693 who married Elizabeth Jane Tipton. Would like to find the John Hunt that enlisted in the Revolution War May 1777, and either died in the brick hospital in November 1777 in Reading, Pennsylvania. The Maryland 6th Regiment records could have been updated as this John Hunt died December 1777 listed under date of discharge. Trying to see if this John Hunt that died in 1777 is a relative of John Tipton Hunt.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
Hunt-3547 and Hunt-3506 appear to represent the same person because: Other then a wife named Nancy? They are the same person, not much on the profile, it is messy on the John Hunt page, the John Tipton Hunt has more children that belong to John Tipton Hunt, if there was a previous merge then that one needs to undone, or once merge complete someone needs to fix their own Nancy Overall name, I am about to change the name to Mary and merge those also. If the female daughter is incorrect I am about to unlink her.
It seems unanimous, what is the hold up?
