Jesse Middleton Hunt was born about 1840 in Jones, Georgia, United States, son of Thomas Hunt (1800–1875) and Sarah Trippe Pope (1804–1847).

Jessee married Mary E Carver on 17 July 1860 in Bibb, Georgia, United States.^[1]

Jesse enlisted as a confederate soldier on 4 March 1862 and served until 14 October 1862 in the 45th Infantry. He served again between 12 October 1864 and 10 Apr 1865.^[2]

Jesse died (age 88) on 13 March 1929 in Round Oak, Jones, Georgia, United States.^[3]
