1860 Census: Lucy Hunt is listed in the Red River Township, Van Buren County, Arkansas household of Henderson (52) and Mahala (45) Hunt. The record notes that Lucy was 13 years old and born in Tennessee.[2]
29 Sep 1864: Lucy Catherine Hunt and David C. Bradford were married at the Hunt Family residence in Van Buren County, Arkansas.[3][4]
1900 Census: Lucy and David (57) Bradford are living in the Red River Township of Van Buren County, Arkansas. The record shows that Lucy was 53, born in Tennessee during December of 1846, and that she had been married to David for 36 years. The couple have 3 children living at home: Thomas (26), Daniel (22), and Minnie A. (16).[5]
1910 Census: Lucy and David (67) Bradford have moved to Heber Springs, Arkansas. The record reflects that Lucy was 63, born in Tennessee, and that she had been married to David for 44 years. The couple's son Thomas S. Bradford (36) is also listed as a member of the household.
