Simeon Hunt was born 4/4/1790 in Rutland County, Vermont. He was in the War of 1812 in Capt. Marvin's Co. Calvary New York. He was married 4/3/1814 to Lorinda (Laurinda) Metcalf, in Bethany, New York. Around 1840, they moved to Peoria county, Illinois, where he died in 1850.
