According to tombstone transcript, Enoch Hunt was born 24 Jun 1812.Transcript of the cemetery says the cemetery is also known as Purcell Cemetery.[1] According to 1850-1880 census, Enoch was born in Kentucky.

Enoch Hunt and Sarah Wood were married 30 Aug 1832 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.[2]

Enoch and Sarah resided with children in Pottawattamie County, Iowa in 1850[3] and Muhlenberg County, Kentucky in 1860.[4] They resided with son Emanuel and two grandchildren in Harrison County, Iowa in 1870. Grandson Allen (son of their son Allen) and granddaughter Sarah Hunt resided with their grandparents in 1870 and 1880.[5] In 1880 in Harrison County, Iowa, children of Sarah Hunt Wood also resided with their grandparents, Enoch and Sarah Hunt.[6]

Enoch Hunt died 20 Nov 1886. He was buried in Jesse Purcell Cemetery, Woodbine, Harrison Co IA.[7] Transcript of the cemetery states: Jun 24 1812 - Nov 20 1886 Aged 74y 27d. It also says the cemetery is also known as Purcell Cemetery.[8]
