Biography

Born 14 Sep 1775 in East Douglas, Mass. Started Douglas Forge, later Douglas Axe Co. Jun 29, 1797. Married Diadama Whiting 27 Jun 1797.[1] She died, and he married Phebe Balcom Jan 1802.[2] He died Dec. 5, 1834..[3]
