(Uncle) Ewart Hunt was the brother of my grandfather Elvin Hunt. I remember him well from boyhood. They were descendants of Ralph Hunt who arrived in Newtown, Long Island, NY in 1652 and are great grand children of Samuel Hunt Sr. who emigrated from New Jersey in 1811 and homesteaded in Middlesex County, ON in 1816.
