Rual Claude Hunt was born October 18, 1888 [1][2] in Cedartown, Polk County, Georgia to William Malon Hunt and Amanda Lettie Dooley Hunt. He moved with his family to Texas before 1900. [3]
Their family appeared in the 1900 federal census of Justice Precinct 8, Grayson, Texas, he was called Claude. He was also called R.C. by members of the family.
Claude Hunt married Jessie Kahlden on December 22, 1912. [4] Their children included Laura, Oma, William Rual, J. Claude, and Raymond.
Their first child, Oma Alta Hunt was born July 11, 1915 in Vernon, Texas. [5]
Their second daughter, Laura Pearl Hunt was born in April 22, 1918. [6]
The 1920 census was enumerated on February 17, 1920. [7] It included this "Printer Friendly Transcription":
A son, William Rual Hunt was their third child. He was born February 25, 1921 in Vernon, Wilbarger, Texas. [8] Two more sons, James Claude and Raymond Hunt completed their immediate family.
In 1930, the family was again recorded in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. [9]
