Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hello Debra,

Thank you for joining WikiTree and signing the Honor Code. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Astrid

Glad you Volunteered, Debra!

You are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced- if you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

I would like more information than what I have been able to find on my family history. Thank you for offering the opportunity to assist with 'growing' the tree!
Welcome as a guest to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile per person. If you would like to help us grow our tree through Collaboration, you can do so by volunteering. Once you are confirmed as a full member, your profile will become a part of our global family tree, so consider that when you make your decision!

To start:

1. Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree so please take some time to read it.
